Presidential Search Committee Update (June 23 2023)
On behalf of the Presidential Search Committee, let me extend my deepest thanks for all who took time out of their day to meet with and/or listen to Dr. Jeff Hennessy. We hope that his time on-campus provided an opportunity for our community to hear about his vision for Acadia and offered an opportunity for folks to ask important questions.
We are now asking the community to provide feedback to the Presidential Search Committee, on your impressions of Dr. Hennessy and his potential appointment to President and Vice-Chancellor of Acadia University. This feedback will be considered as part of the committee’s final recommendation to the Board of Governors, as per the Presidential Search Policy.
On-Campus Feedback
We ask that all on-campus feedback be submitted no later than Tuesday, June 27, at 5 p.m. AT. For individuals with an Acadia University email, please feel free to provide feedback using Presidential Candidate Feedback Form. Your comments are strictly confidential to the committee, and unless you choose to include your name, they will be anonymous.
Off-Campus Feedback
We ask that all off-campus feedback be submitted no later than Tuesday, June 27, at 5 p.m. AT. Please send your comments by email to presidentialsearch@acadiau.ca. Your comments are strictly confidential to the committee, and unless you choose to include your name, they will be anonymous. Natalie Weekes (Manager Communications & Special Projects, and a non-member of the Presidential Search Committee) will redact email addresses and any contact information before sharing with the Committee.
